IP/MPLS Core Engineer
Place of work: Podgorica
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to produce IP design and solution for client's IP corporate and service networks, as well as for client's business customers
- Maintenance of client IP networks, and management of equipment and systems in accordance with the managed service agreement with client
- Fault management / repair and troubleshooting of client equipment and systems in accordance with the current Incident Management processes
- Preventive Management in accordance with the current Preventive Management processes
- Periodic monitoring of IP network elements within client systems, their capacities, traffic and alarms
- System performance analysis
- Configuration backup management
- Realization (analysis, planning, preparation and implementation) of work orders for integration, modification and reconfiguration of network elements of IP network, activation of features and modification of network parameters, integration of new elements into network, in accordance with current Change Management Processes
- Participation in integration activities with other network elements and platforms
- Planning and control of implemented activities by equipment manufacturers and system integrators Quality control of implementation in client systems
- Problem Management in accordance with the current Problem Management processes
- Communication with vendor support in order to solve the identified problems that go beyond the activities of the second line of support
- Periodic on-call standby outside of working hours, depending on client requests
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in IP network planning, design and operation, preferably with Telco/Service Providers,from physical up to the network layer
- 7. level of education, preferably ETF, PMF
- Networking certification prefered
- Good working experience in configuring IP MPLS and Data center equipment
- Good understanding of:
- IGP Routing Protocols, MPLS, and TE
- BGP Routing Protocols
- Data centers, Firewalls, and Security functionality
- Good understanding of interoperability issues between vendors and troubleshoot protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPV4, NAT, IPSec VPNs, VLANs base standards, etc
- Hands-on experience in complex routing troubleshooting, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VPLS, IPV4 MPLS LSP etc, on equipment produced by different vendors (Cisco, Huawei, etc.)
Project management and good communication skills - Team player, fluent in English, communicating effectively, analytical thinking, result oriented
